健身抗疫 濟世益民
祝香港《樂齡養生太極拳》出版
2020年春,一場空前的新冠肺炎疫情席捲全球。世界衛生組織5月20日統計,全球單日新增病例10萬6千人,累計確診人數突破500萬,死亡人數31萬。專家警告,在新冠疫苗和特效藥研發完成並投入使用之前,自身免疫力是人類抗疫的唯一保障。居家抗疫,加強身心鍛煉,提高免疫力,成了人們防控疫情的自覺行動。
在抗擊新冠疫情的非常時期,中國太極拳著名傳承人,香港老年人體育協會主席冷先鋒老師,組織一批專家、教練,合力創編出版了《樂齡養生太極拳》,為廣大民眾健身抗疫提供了新武器,為中華武術服務社會做出了新貢獻,實屬濟世益民之舉,古為今用之作,可喜可賀!
太極拳是中華武術的優秀拳種,中華文化的體育名片。它動中求靜,柔中寓剛,身心並舉,內外雙修,具有健身、防身、修身的多種作用。其根本目的是促進人類養生除病,健康長壽。所以在古《太極拳譜》中說“願天下豪傑延年益壽,非徒做技藝之末也”。然而太極拳作為歷史文化遺產,在流傳過程中,也雜生了玄虛迷信,宗派保守,裝腔做假,違反科學的糟粕。有的“名師”自吹自擂,攻擊群眾性太極拳健身是“花架子”,只有拜到他門下才能學到“真功夫”。《樂齡養生太極拳》的創編,高舉太極健身,全民抗疫的旗幟,特別著眼於高齡者、體弱患病者以及缺乏運動習慣的人士,本著由淺至深,由易到難,易學易練的原則,使傳統太極拳更方便高齡人和初學者學練,推動健身抗疫深入千家萬戶。
我做以上推薦,並不意味我同意“太極拳是老年人的專利”主張,也不代表我反對太極拳健身以外的其他作用。實際上我的家庭就是一個太極拳的綜合體。我爺爺先後拜郝恩光、孫祿堂、李景林為師,學藝打練並重的武術,做過山東省國術館教務長,東北三省的太極拳開拓者。我父親是哈爾濱醫科大學附屬醫院康復科的太極拳師、氣功師。叔叔是新中國第一支國家武術隊的主教練,獲“新中國武術開拓者”和“全國十大武術名師”稱號。我是中國人民大學體育教師,任教40年,主要是向年青的大學生傳授太極拳。我的女兒在英國創立了太極拳學院和健身氣功協會,擁有一大批熱愛中國文化的洋弟子。我一貫的立場是:中華武術是一個大寶庫,每一位武術人都應該在自己的崗位上,齊心協力將武術發揚光大。當務之急,是為擊敗新冠病毒,保護人類生命,做出應有貢獻。

Anti-epidemic fitness – for the benefit of all people
Congratulations on the Hong Kong publication of “Health preservation Taijiquan for the Elderlyn”
In the spring of 2020 a new coronavirus epidemic swept the world. According to the World Health Organization, on 20 May there were 106,000 new cases in a single day worldwide, the cumulative
number of diagnoses exceeded 5 million, and the number of deaths was 310,000. Experts warn that until vaccines and drugs specific to the new coronavirus are developed and put into use,
autoimmunity is the only guarantee to counter the epidemic. Fighting the epidemic at home, physical and mental strengthening exercises, and improving immunity have become the conscious effort
of the people to prevent and control the epidemic.
During this extraordinary period of fighting the new coronavirus epidemic, the famous lineage holder of Chinese taijiquan, Mr. Leng Xianfeng, chairman of the Hong Kong Senior Sports
Association, organized a group of experts and coaches, and jointly published "Health preservation Taijiquan for the Elderly". It has provided a valuable new resource for the general public to
fight against the epidemic and made new contributions in the service of Chinese wushu. It is indeed a move to benefit the people!
Taijiquan is an excellent form of Chinese wushu and a marque of Chinese culture. It seeks tranquility in motion, finds rigidity in softness, cultivates both internal and external, body and
mind simultaneously. It has various functions in fitness, self-defence and self-cultivation. Therefore, in the ancient taijiquan charts it is said, “May the world's heroes live long and in the
end master the skill”. Taijiquan is a historical and cultural heritage, but in the process of spreading were also born mystery and superstition, conservative sects, pretence and falsehood, and
unscientific rubbish. Some "famous teachers" brag about themselves, attacking taijiquan fitness for the masses as form without true substance– attractive but insubstantial, and only when they
come to him can they learn "true kung fu". The editor of "Health preservation Taijiquan for the Elderly" holds high the banner of taiji anti-epidemic fitness for all, especially the elderly,
infirm and those lacking the habit of exercise. Based on the principles of shallow to deep, easy to difficult, easy to learn and easy to practice, it makes traditional taijiquan more convenient
for senior citizens and beginners to learn and practice, and promotes the anti-epidemic exercise within every family.
My recommendation above does not mean that I endorse the claim that "taiji is solely for the elderly", nor does it mean that I oppose functions other than taijiquan fitness. In fact my family
is comprehensively involved in taijiquan. My grandfather followed successively historical taiji masters Hao Enguang, Sun Lutang, and Li Jinglin as teachers, with equal emphasis on wushu, and
was the dean of the Shandong Provincial Wushu Museum and a pioneer of taijiquan in the three northeastern provinces. My father is a taijiquan master and qigong master in the Rehabilitation
Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University. My uncle is the head coach of the first national wushu team in New China and won the titles of "New China Wushu Pioneer" and
"Top Ten National Wushu Teachers". I am a physical education teacher at the Chinese Peoples University, and have been teaching for 40 years, mainly teaching taijiquan to young college students.
My daughter founded Taiji College and Health Qigong Association in the UK, and has a large number of foreign students who love Chinese culture. My consistent position is: Chinese wushu is a
compendium of invaluable knowledge, every wushu person should from his own position work together to develop and promote wushu. The top priority now is to make due efforts to defeat the new
coronavirus and protect human life.

“太極”之名源於《易經》:“易有太極,
是生兩儀,兩儀生四象,四象生八卦......”。大極拳結合易學的陰陽五行之變化、中醫學的經絡學說以及導引、吐納術,並綜合百家拳術之長而創立的。太極拳“以柔克剛、以靜制動、借力打力、四兩撥千斤”的拳理,在中華武林獨樹一幟。太極拳包含了中國傳統哲學、養生學、醫學武學、美學等眾多學科,不僅是中國功夫之集大成者,更是中國幾千年文化的璀璨明珠,是東方文明的結晶。
對太極拳普及推廣而言,一套簡單易學、通俗易懂、不出偏差、快速入門的練習方法,才能讓更多的學習者掌握太極要領,走進健康太極的大門。基於此,香港國際武術總會主席、中國香港老年人體育協會主席冷先鋒老師結合幾十年的學武經歷,吸取在學習和教學中的各種理論和技術經驗,並聽取中國武術協會主管部門領導、體育院校教授、傳統名家、甚至廣大武術愛好者的寶貴意見,為了弘揚和傳承中華武學,從而創編《國際武術大講堂系列叢書》,而本書《樂齡養生太极拳》是其中最基本最重要的內容,並由陳式太極拳第十一代正宗傳人、太極拳名家冷先鋒老師親身示範、教授、數百幀全彩色圖片詳盡展示技術細節,全程要點、提示指導,對古老的傳統太極理論既完整繼承而又推陳出新,針對太極拳的內涵,抓住太極拳的本質,制定了一整套系統的修煉方法,讓太極拳學習者快速體悟太極拳真諦,達到身心雙修的無我境界!
在本書創編過程之中,適逢國家體育總局等14部委聯合印發《武術立業發展規劃(2019-2025年)》,規劃中提出要堅持傳承、弘揚中華傳統武術文化,講好武術太極文化故事,體現中國武術精神,展示中國武術形象,我們也為之振奮和深感肩負的歷史使命和傳承重任。因此編寫本套系列叢書,也是牢固樹立新發展理念,以弘揚傳統武術文化、滿足群眾武術健身需求為出發點,實現中華優秀傳統文化的創造性轉化和創新性發展。

The name "Taiji" has its origin in the "I Ching" (Book of Changes):" Changes produces Taiji. Taiji generates the two polarties (Yin-yang).The two polarties generate the four images (sixiang).
The four images generate the eight trigrams (Bagua). "The expansion was believed to continue to infinity (an undefined state). Taijiquan combines yin-yang balance and the variety of
the five elements, the meridional theory of Chinese medicine as well as breathing techniques and integrated in many styles of Chinese wushu. Taijiquan "uses softness to conquer strength,
uses stillness to control motion" , "exploits power to beat power,uses an ounce to outbalance a ton" , which makes taijiquan unique amongst Chinese martial arts.
Taijiquan apart being a school of wushu, also consist of Chinese traditional philosophy, medicine, nutrition and beauty of forms. It is not only the quintessence of Chinese Kungfu, but also
the crystallization of China's splendid culture over many millennia anda representation of Eastern crystallization.For the promotion of and to inherit Chinese wushu, a good book is obviously
needed. It is necessary to summaries a set of easy-to-understand,easy-to-practice routines for the learners so that they can be guided properly and gradually achieve the skills of taijiquan.
Based on this, Hong Kong International Wushu Association and China Hong Kong Eldery Sports Association Mr. Leng Xianfeng President, In combination with decades of experience in learning martial
arts, learning from various theoretical and technical experiences in learning and teaching,and also the precious opinions from the Chinese Wushu Association, professors of sports colleges,
traditional masters and many martial arts enthusiasts,I have created the "International Wushu Lecture Series". The book " Health-preserving Taijiquan for the Elderly" provides the most
basic and important content of the series. It is demonstrated by the 11th generation direct Descendant in the lineage of Chen Style Taijiquan, the famous taijiquan Master Leng
Xianfeng, illustrated with hundreds of full-colour pictures showing the technical details, with full explanations, so that the ancient tradition of taiji theory is passed on in full: it
presents a systematic set of methods focused on the essentials to grasp the essence of taiji Plan, which enables taijiquan students quickly to realize the true meaning of taijiquan and so
achieve an improved state of body and mind.This book has been developed in line with the Wushu Industry Development Plan, 2019-2025", jointly issued by the 14 ministries
and commissions including the State Sports General Administration, wherein it is proposed to pass on and develop Chinese martial arts culture, tell the story of martial arts culture,
reflect the spirit of Chinese martial arts, and display the image of Chinese martial arts.We are also inspired by and deeply aware of the heavy responsibility of this historic mission,To
promote traditional martial arts culture, to meet the needs of the masses for a starting point and foundation in martial arts fitness, and to realize the creative transformation and innovative
development of China's excellent traditional culture.
