This collection of recent journal articles, discussion papers, and original invited material can be used as a supplement reader for advanced graduate students in economics; it will also be of
interest to researchers. Most chapters survey international trade and international macroeconomics, reflecting new issues related to the evolution of the world trade and payment systems, new
data sets, new theoretical models, and new empirical research. The first six chapters center on trade, covering areas such as multinational firms, the structure of international trade, and
gravity equations. The next six chapters focus on international macroeconomics, with material on exchange rates and interest parity, external adjustment, and global imbalances. Annotation ©2014
