Some people count their blessings, but dog walker Stephen Nobel counts mistakes.
Stephen Nobel is a pretty regular kid. He can get a little anxious, but his habit of going over events again and again in his head makes him feel a little less worried. This kicks into
hyperdrive after a series of crazy events at school one day: someone smashes a car into the building, and the bomb squad blows up a backpack. If that wasn’t bad enough, now Stephen’s favourite
dogs, Ping and Pong, are at the mercy of a dognapper. Then the threatening texts from a criminal start.
His new friend Renée wants Stephen to go to the police to clear her brother’s name after he is accused of crashing the car. But if Stephen isn’t careful, Ping and Pong are in deep
trouble.
Is it a mistake to give in to dognappers? Is there any way he can save everybody? To find out, Stephen will have to count on himself.
