Weregirl: Everyone Has an Animal Inside

16 year-old Nessa Kurland is an above-average girl in a below-average town. While Tether, Michigan might not have the water problems of Flint, it does suffer the after effects of the infamous 90’s corporate polluter, Dutch Chemical. Nessa’s best hope to escape is a college scholarship for cross-country running. Then a seemingly chance encounter with a trapped wolf on a forest run renders Nessa transformed: she becomes a werewolf, able to shape shift at will, throwing her junior year into lupine tumult.
