Vermont Moments

Vermont Moments is the product of the author’s 45 years as editor and publisher of a weekly newspaper in Randolph, Vermont. The author has chosen 50 stories that he has written over those years which are his favorites, and the favorites of his readers. Taken together they paint a vivid portrait of what it’s like to live in a rural state like Vermont. Vermont Author Howard Frank Mosher characterized it as "The best and most authentic book I’ve ever read about life in a rural Vermont village" and three past governors of the state have lavished praises on "Vermont Moments." The book is full of stories, moving stories, funny stories, amazing stories, moving stories, portraits of Vermonters, as well as a handful of poems that also speak of the moments that shine a light on what’s really important in rural life and are worthy of being remembered. Another longtime editor writes that the author "sees with the eye of a journalist and writes with the the voice of a poet."
