Editors Nwosu and Obiwu present students, academics, researchers, and general interest readers with a collection of academic papers and scholarly articles focused on the driving forces behind
the literature of Africa and the African Diaspora. The editors have organized the twelve contributions that make up the main body of the text in four parts devoted to African literature and
global imaginaries, African literature and consciousness, African literature and feminist perspectives, and African literature and cultural aesthetics. Maik Nwosu is a faculty member of the
