　　Raised in Hobart, Tasmania, Nick Hendrie now resides in Perth, Australia. “What inspired me initially was the seeming intellectual degradation of man. There is so much consumerism and blind faith in the world, in people’s day-to-day lives that I got sick of people fobbing these things off as normal. So I sat down and wrote a book about where we are at as a world, where we are headed, and what makes people tick both spiritually and intellectually.”
