In the Meridian of the Heart: Selected Letters of Rico Lebrun

Painter, draftsman, and sculptor Rico (1900-64) left his native Italy in 1924, and had begun receiving international recognition by 1950, when the letters here begin. The selection extends through his time in Mexico 1950-58; New Haven, Capri, and Rome to 1960; and Los Angeles until his death. They are punctuated with monochrome reproductions of paintings.
