內容簡介

Collecting original contributions from scholars in economics, management, and sociology, this volume addresses how advanced economies can encourage the emergence of entrepreneurial firms through policies associated with education, sustainability, and regulation. The 19 papers collected are presented by editors Bonnet (U. of Caen, France), Bejardin (U. of Namur and U. Catholique de Louvain, Belgium), and Madrid-Guijarro (U. Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain) in four sections that examine, in turn, education and human capital, including education in entrepreneurship within the educational system; issues of sustainability and innovation, including the barriers to innovation among small and medium enterprises in developing countries, determinants of innovation assessment, the relationship between innovation and creativity, and the links between innovation and sustainability; entrepreneurship and finance, as well as entrepreneurial responses to financial crisis; and the roles of moral, cultural, and legal norms in determining entrepreneurial motives and behaviors.
