Christian, an evil corporate vampire has lit the day candle, which allows vampires to walk in the sun. Vampire Hunter Celadore must set out to destroy the candle, only her soul has been bounced into the comatose body of Evelyn Massey, an 11yr old girl. Plagued by the ghost of the actual Evelyn, Celadore is eventually joined by Sam, the over-eager next door neighbor, and her old posse: Jams, the only Frankenstein ever born of two others; Wax, Celadore's ex-boyfriend; And Ness, Celadore's business partner, tooth fairy, & qualified masseuse. Adventure, hilarity, and surprises ensue in a world where even magic isn't safe from capitalism.
