Part one of the new high fantasy comic series, Elves: The Blue Crystal tells the stories of the Blue Elves as the tensions between their race and the humans turns to bloodshed.  

After the genocide of the Blue Elves in a small port town, a surviving member of the Blue Elf race, Lanawyn, investigates a nearby human town known for its bigoted views against elves. He is joined by Turin, a famed warrior aiding the elves in their quest for survival. Meanwhile, the elven princess Vaalann receives a fateful prophecy: that she will come into possession of a crystal with the power to control the ocean—a prophecy that could change the lives of both her people and the human race forever. In the vein the Lord of the Rings and other high fantasy classics, this richly illustrated graphic novel series contains five volumes, each focusing one of five main classes of Elves.
