The novel recreates the real character of Christa Leem, an emblematic stripper of the night rabble in Barcelona of the 70s. However, it's not a biography. The author, on the first page of the
book, warns that his book is a tribute to Christa Leem, but not a biography, and in its pages tells real facts and invented facts. One of the persons to whom the novel is dedicated, is the
mother of Christa Leem (who provided all the information he needed for writing the book) and the other is Joan Estrada, producer and man of culture of that time, still alive.
