Pivoting on work done at Pennsylvania State U.-University Park, US and European researchers describe innovative statistical methods for applying models from systems theory to individual
learning and developmental processes ranging from mother-infant interaction to cognitive aging. They cover life span development, dynamics of learning, and modeling issues. Among specific
topics are a person-specific analysis of the dynamics of weight change, decomposing the performance dynamics of learning through time scales, and modeling resilience with differential
equations. A final chapter identifies an emerging third discipline of scientific psychology. The volume grew out of a September 2008 conference an Pennsylvania State. Annotation 穢2010 Book
