Building up from basic conceptual issues concerning the human condition, reason and morality, free will, and the like, retired administrative law judge Robinson presents the case for "rational
optimism" about the future of human society. His rational optimism seems largely to consist of rejecting leftist and liberal concerns about poverty, the power of corporations, the dangers of
climate change, and similar matters and (although he is not necessarily explicit in saying so) generally seems to come from the perspective of free market libertarianism. Annotation 穢2009 Book
