Black in China

Growing up as a young Black man in California, Aaron Vessup tasted first-hand the nature of American racism, and after moving to China in the early 2000s, he experienced a new kind of otherness, being a Black man in the land of China, but decided in the end that he would prefer to be Black-Chinese than Black-American.
