Karmic Astrology is an ancient Karmic science which explains planetary motions and positions with respect to time and their effect on humans and other entities on earth. Karmic astrology can be
traced thousands of years back. Early Karmic astrology was only based on the movement of planets with respect to stars, but later on it started including zodiac signs as well. According to
Karmic astrology there are 27 constellations made up of 12 zodiac signs, 9 planets and 12 sections with each section and planet representing some aspect of human life. Depending on when a
person is born, the 12 signs are distributed among the 12 sections and 9 planets are placed in various sections. This visual representation of the snapshot of the signs and planets is called a
horoscope chart. Karmic science is nothing but interpreting the meaning of these arrangements as it applies to humans and other entities. The words “planet” and “star” are used in a slightly
different sense in astrology than in astronomy. For example, Sun (a star) and Moon (a satellite of earth) are called planets in astrology, along with Mars etc. Basically, a planet is a body
that has considerable influence on the living beings on earth. Distant stars have negligible influence on us, but Sun, Moon and planets in the solar system have a great influence on our
activities. So the word planet is used to describe them. Seven planets are considered in Indian astrology. They are – Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn. In addition, two
“chaayaa grahas” (shadow planets) are considered in Indian astrology – Rahu and Ketu. These are also called “the north node” and “the south node” respectively (or the head and tail of dragon).
Rahu and Ketu are not real planets; they are just some mathematical points. Apart from these 9 planets, there are 11 moving mathematical points known as Upagrahas (sub-planets or satellites).
We also have Lagna (ascendant), which is the point that rises on the eastern horizon as the earth rotates around itself. In addition, we have some mathematical points known as “special
ascendants". In an endeavour to enlighten the effects of Karmic Law on human beings an attempt has been made through this book covering the concept of Planets and their interlinkages which are
formed on the basis of karmic deeds of native and is also one of the important part of the functioning of administration of God, subject to the provisions of Karmic Laws. The study of this book
is expected to achieve the better understanding among readers.
