Aprender a insultar es todo un arte, ya lo decía Schopenhauer, se trata del último recurso cuando todas las demás artes de la argumentación han fracasado. Si bien el fundador del pesimismo
desaconsejó en todos sus escritos llegar a tal extremo, fue generoso a la hora de diseminar a lo largo de sus obras insultos, improperios, ofensas, escarnios y sentencias tajantes de las que
cualquiera en su época podría hacer uso y tomar ventaja.
Nos dimos a la tarea de recopilar más de 2000 insultos con su definición, tomados de diccionarios, legajos, textos literarios, pasquines y el uso coloquial y diario del habla, para formar un
diccionario que sea de utilidad para el hablante común, con ejemplos cercanos de nuestra lengua. Entradas con historia que proporcionan miles de alternativas para insultar sin ofender u
ofendiendo, según sea nuestra intención y la ocasión.＂

As Schopenhauer would say, learning how to use insults is an acquired art. They are to be used as a last resort when all other arguments or persuasion tactics have failed. Even though the
founder of pessimism advised in all of his writings against reaching such extremes, he did not hesitate to spread insults all throughout his works: swearwords, smears, taunts, and sharp
judgments so that anyone at that time could take advantage of and use as they saw fit.
We took on the task of collecting over 2,000 insults with their definition, colloquial meaning, and daily usage taken from dictionaries, files, literary texts, and leaflets, and created a
dictionary that is useful for the everyday person. The entries include a history that provide thousands of alternatives to learn how to insult without offending, so that people can use as
they see necessary.
