So Cosy

　　Dog's bed looks so cosy, Goose, Cat, the rabbits, Mummy Bear and Baby Bear, Goat and Snake and even Elephant want to snuggle up with Dog too. And so they do! By the end it's a teetering pile-up of cosiness. Until ... patter patter patter ... along comes Mouse. He climbs up onto the tip of Elephant's trunk. How tickly! In fact, it's so tickly, Elephant can't take it and he sneezes the noisiest, most trumpety sneeze, which frightens all the others away. All except Dog. Then ... patter patter patter ... cheeky little Mouse comes back. He snuggles down next to Dog. "Now this really is cosy," said Mouse. "Ever so cosy!" said Dog.

　　Lerryn Korda studied film at New York University and worked in the art department on various TV and film productions in LA and London before becoming a picture book maker. She completed an MA in Illustration at Kingston University and published her first picture books, all about Little Nye and his friends, with Walker Books. Lerryn lives in London, NW6, with her family.
