Acknowledging the explosion of both print and online sources of information on graves, Wilson continues to provide as much detail as possible on where the people he lists ended up, sharing what
information is available even if the location of the grave is not known, such as where cremated ashes were scattered or are held. He concentrates heavily on people in the arts who lived and
died on the east and west coasts of the US and in England, France, and Germany, but also includes characters he finds interesting in other fields and places. In addition to grave locations, he
includes vital statistics and a sketch of the person’s life focusing on why they are famous. The people are listed alphabetically, and the index is to cemetaries and other locations. Annotation
