Exposed to a life of money, drugs, and murder, an eight year old, Kwasi “Kway” James, witnesses the murder of his parents. That was the day his life-long quest for revenge began. After several
years spent bouncing from foster home to foster home, Kway finds himself homeless, penniless, and laying in the street dying from multiple bullet wounds. Upon his recovery, he is taken in by a
notorious, big-time drug dealer known simply as, “Big Shank,” and Shank’s longtime girlfriend, Paris. While Kway is naturally suspicious of the generosity being shown to him, life is good for a
while, and Shank eventually puts him on the road to vengeance. At least that is what he is led to believe. However, nothing is ever as it seems to be, and Kway soon learns an important lesson;
never trust anyone, when he finds out that Shank is using the murders he is committing to start a war in the underworld. Within these blood soaked pages, the true-to-life action never stops,
and the twists and turns keep coming. No one is who they say they are, and in the end, Kway’s world is turned upside down in ways no one could see coming when he finds himself in a standoff
that is either going to cost him his life, or put him at the top of the drug game in the Seven Cities area.
