Drown Sever Sing

This haunting short story collection is based on popular Colombian legends and folk tales that have been retold, recast, and reimagined. What emerges is a parade of humanized monsters and monstrous humans. The stories include men with axes, devils with chafed inner thighs, a weeping woman dreaming of drowning gods, and an 11-year-old boy flirting with girls and inventing murder.
