Pompom Christmas

Building on the pompom magic of Alistair Macdonald’s previous book, this new book seeks to take pompoms to another level altogether with a Christmas theme. It covers a whole range of Christmas decorations and plenty of Christmas characters too. From Rudolph with his red nose, Santa and Mrs Claus, and a ‘frosty’ snowman gift topper to an ingenious bauble, a luxuriant snowflake and a gorgeous festive wreath, there are projects that will appeal to everyone. Some projects, such as the garland, are small and very quick to make; others such as the festive wreath, are a more impressive size and a little more involved, but all can be accomplished by novice and expert pom-pommers alike! Pompoms are quick and easy to make, and all the designs can be made either with plastic pompom makers, or in the traditional way using cardboard templates. These beautiful projects will appeal to adults of all abilities, and are a great way of engaging children in craft-making. All the projects can be made with inexpensive yarn, and are a great way of using up scraps in your yarn stash and fabric oddments.
