Private Equity

This book, which was written as a textbook for the Law of Private Equity course at Copenhagen University, is also useful for practitioners and academics as well as for students at other educational institutions. This updated English version examines Danish law and the situation in Denmark. It is current as of the end of 2014, although it does include references to practices in other countries, particularly the UK, which leads Europe vis-á-vis private equity. Andersen explains the transactions and agreements that lie behind the transactions and the regulations that provide the relevant framework. The text is broken up into six chapters: introduction to private equity; PE funds; managers of PE funds; venture capital investment; buyouts; and exits. Distributed in the US by ISBS.
