Interviewees include Lou Reed, Pete Townshend, Ted Nugent, Kiss, Fran Lebowitz, and Bob Dylan. Other acts covered include the Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, Yoko Ono, Alice Cooper, and a slew of others.
Morgan is known for getting his subjects to open up in ways that they never would for anyone else. The close encounters with heavyweight sparring partners featured here are prime examples of that craft, illustrated with the photography of veteran rock and fashion photographer (and former CREEM staffer) Robert Matheu.
