Night Animals

　　咦，那個暗暗的地方，好像有什麼耶？

　　負鼠先聽到了，接著臭鼬也聽到了，沒想到連狼都跑來了。
　　蝙蝠說：「那會是什麼啊？」
　　大家都說：「夜行動物呀！」
　　但蝙蝠不以為然地提醒牠這些笨笨的朋友們：「可是你們也都是夜行動物呀！」

　　《Night Animals》是一本很可愛的繪本童書，儘管主題設定在看起來有點可怕、暗摸摸的夜晚，但作者吉安娜（Gianna Marino）巧妙地在黑色封面上運用閃亮的銀色標題，再加上一隻表情滑稽且驚恐不安的負鼠，不但將故事驚恐感降到最低，並成功地讓這本繪本化身為溫馨、有趣且廣受孩子們喜愛的床邊故事集。(文/ 博客來編譯)
