The Yearbook, published under the auspices of the Council of Europe, catalogues and reviews the activities of Europe’s main inter-governmental and supra-national organizations, as well as
several global inter-governmental organizations that began as European organizations and still retain a strong European component. Articles in French and English document the events and status
during 2012 regarding European unity, historical events and developments, external relations, the protection of fundamental rights, institutes and institutional issues, and European policies.
