This anthology presents 18 excerpts and previously published articles on the subject of trade secret law, also termed the law governing undisclosed information, from sources such as California
Law Review; Journal of Law, Technology and Policy; Hastings Law Journal; and Hamline Law Review. The editors provide a substantial introduction, which is followed by selections arranged under
the following broad themes: the development and scope of trade secrecy, trade secret theory and justifications, essential elements and limiting principles, trade secrets in the new economy, and
international and criminal enforcement of trade secret rights. Originally published between 1998 and 2013, the articles trace trade secret law in the US through enactment of the Uniform Trade
Secret Act and the inclusion of US principles in the World Trade Organization Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property (the TRIPS Agreement). Annotation ©2015 Ringgold, Inc.,
