This volume collects eleven essays and scholarly articles from a wide variety of disciplines on the subject of the current role of the International Court of Justice in determining the rule of law in the international community. Editors Gaja and Stoutenburg compiled this collection from papers presented at a conference celebrating the centenary of the Peace Palace in the Hague.
