英國攝影師James Bent長期於亞洲各地旅行，習慣用相機沿途捕捉各個街頭的時尚身影，並將攝影作品上傳到獨自經營的「Asian Street Fashion」網站，與全世界一同分享，許多喜愛街拍、關心穿搭潮流的時人都是他的忠實讀者。

This is an Asian street style site that is run solely by myself, James Bent - I’m a British Photographer living and travelling across Asia, together with my partner Stacey Young
This website started under the moniker La Mode Outré, back in January of 2010. Stacey had been suggesting I go out onto the streets and take photos of people because I used to write short
stories for which I used photographs of people (mainly from a book I discovered while living in Sydney, Australia, by The Sartorialist - at the time unknown to me) to base characters on. Then
it just kind of grew and changed over time into a street style site and from there it’s taken on a life of it’s own to some extent.
I’ve been asked quite frequently what I look for when I’m out taking street fashion photographs, and it’s always a difficult question to answer. In fact, I don’t think I look for anything
specific, but more general concepts such as charm, mood, sexiness and character; and cut, fit, design and form. And I guess I’m always open to challenging myself when I see something new.
So far I’ve visited Seoul in Korea, Tokyo & Osaka in Japan, Taipei in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai in China, Bangkok in Thailand, KL in Malaysia and Singapore.
