The Tallgrass Prairie Reader

Price has assembled a collection of literature in a variety of forms, either about or set in the tallgrass bioregion. Organized by century, with writing from the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries from Native Americans, naturalists, scientists, and other inhabitants, this text strives to honor the ecological diversity of the region, while providing students and writers with myriad examples for nature writing.
