內容簡介

The aim of this book, write the editors, "is to understand how successful enterprising families in different contexts build and exploit resources and capabilities to create entrepreneurial ventures across generations," with a particular focus on the theme of intangible resources and capabilities. The goal is accomplished through life history reconstructions of 26 business families in 12 countries across several hundred years of economic activities. Intangibles addressed include virtues, professional decision-making, entrepreneurial learning, tacit knowledge, social capital, and reputation.
