Editors Crowther (corporate social responsibility, De Montfort University, UK) and Aras (finance, Yildiz Technical University, Turkey) unite international contributors to address the
relationship between governance and risk and their relationship to business practice at the global, societal, and business unit levels in the commercial and public sectors. Major themes are
transparency, environmental problems, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. Specific chapter topics include stakeholder activism, govnernance in capital market institutions, and
