A Year in the Life of Italys Vineyards Wines. Slow Wine 2013 is an innovative overview of the Italian wine world, which lists the countrys finest bottles in terms of aroma and taste, sense of
terroir and value for money. But it also boldly ventures into previously unexplored territory, judging wineries according to their environmental sensitivity and eco-sustainable practices. To
achieve this ambitious target, more than 200 contributors visited the vineyards and cellars of more than 2,000 wineries and made the acquaintance of the producers themselves. The book describes
2,500 labels, all pieces of the Italian winemaking mosaic.
