The Pericles Commission

Nicolaos, a young resident of classical Athens, is hired by Pericles to find the assassin of the statesman Ephialtes, as witnesses are mysteriously murdered and he accepts the help of Diotima, a priestess of Artemis, and of his younger brother Socrates.
