Fourteen-year-old Simon is an OWNO (Orphan with No Options), who lives with his deranged grandfather and a horrible housekeeper, Griselda, who punishes him by making him trim her toenails with his teeth; haunted by a recurring dream that seems to symbolize the parents he lost but whom he can't remember, Simon must regain his memory before it's too late.
