Janine is trying to establish an identity among her peers. However, since she is too shy to express herself, she finds more comfort with the animals and birds in the forest near her home
instead. Her love for nature is very sincere, and whenever she has a chance to escape from the wrath of humanity, she heads into a world of peace and tranquillity to be with the great outdoors.
Wintertime arrives, and Janine and her sister enjoy a sleigh ride down the icy hill about a mile and a half away from home, until an unfortunate accident occurs where Janine hits her head. This
is where magical moments begin. Unsure of what had happened to her, Janine is given a mission by a strange character to fulfil. Her quest involves saving the birds and animals from starvation
due to uncontrollable snowstorms. To complete this operation, she, along with the assistance of Corvus the crow, has to find the Snow Queen, who can help save the animals in the forest. But a
powerful phantom, Faeran becomes her enemy and develops cold-blooded schemes to prevent Janine from fulfilling her mission. It is up to her and Corvus to find a way to rescue the birds and
animals without facing the unthinkable destruction initiated by Faeran. Many trials and tribulations occur during her trek through the cold woods, but will her bondage with nature help Janine
succeed her mission or will she fail to save the birds and animals?
