Intended for the serious investor, this work employs a data set from 1995 to the end of 2011, and draws on the author’s extensive experience to explore breakaway, measuring and exhaustion
gaps--and ultimately to advise when to go with continuation or reversal investment strategies. Candlestick and daily stock charts, along with a variety of tables, appear regularly, however
complex mathematical models are kept to a minimum. Dahlquist (finance, U. of Texas, San Antonio) and Bauer (finance, St. Mary’s U.) were 2011 winners of Charles H. Dow award for creativity and
innovation in technical stock analysis. Annotation ©2012 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
