Fictional First-Person Discourses in Cuban Diaspora Novels: The Author Within and Beyond Textual Boundaries

This book examines the fictional, first-person discoursed of Spanish-language Cuban diaspora novels, written over the last three decades. The novels' imaginative discourses, as impacted by dislocation, are interpreted as 'autobiographical acta' of individual and collective identity, rather than as camouflages of autobiographical reality.
