In this work for professionals and graduate students, editors Eysenck et al. present selected papers from the 2008 Biennial Symposium on Personality and Social Psychology, organized by the
Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities. Papers in part 1 deal with the effects of individual differences and emotion on cognitive processing and performance. Some chapter topics
include anxiety and cognitive performance, the energetics of emotional intelligence, and creative intuition. Papers in part 2 address the relationships between emotional states and various
aspects of individual differences and cognitive processes. Social cognition and morality are some areas explored. The final chapter attempts to integrate current research in personality,
cognition, and emotion into a theoretical framework. Annotation 穢2012 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
