desire to run and pull. First she needs to find a forever home. An older puppy soon to become an adult dog, she and her sister of the same age have not yet been named. Jim the sled dog musher,
who has other huskies at his kennel, comes to meet and considers adopting them. Miki faces a challenge which stands in the way of her goal of becoming a sled dog. Read about her challenge and
her attempts to conquer it, and about her sister and another dog friend who face challenges of their own. Messages within the story include kindness toward others, belief in oneself, and always
doing one's best. The tale, while original and mostly true, has parallels to the classics The Little Engine that Could and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
