"Soul of A Sister" is a collection of poetry written by a woman who is eighty two years old and whose journey extends from the Jim Crow South, to being a single woman raising seven children and being displaced from her home during Hurricane Katrina. She has once been loved and hurt all at the same time and survived these experiences with tenacity,humor and wisdom.
