　　本書作者是日本知名的兒童繪本作家他筆下常表現出純真、活潑的特性能引起孩子的共鳴。本書要帶領孩子藉著一隻小牛犢的成長，同時體驗到四季的更換及氣候的變化。全書以簡短、精確的文字及句型，搭配鮮明的圖畫，第一頁上以Spring is here為序曲來揭示一個年度的開始，旁邊畫了一隻剛出生的小白牛犢；最後一頁也是以Spring is here來收尾，但小牛已長出了斑紋及牛角。這本簡單的書讓孩子在閱讀中感受大自然的變化及生命的奧妙。此書適合3-10歲的小朋友閱讀。

作者簡介

五味太郎

　　一九四五年出生於東京，是日本點子特別多、創作力豐沛、多產的畫家及作家，二十幾年出版了二百三十多本圖畫書，為國際知名畫家。

　　Taro Gomi has created more than 350 books for readers of all ages, including Everyone Poops, My Friends, Spring Is Here, Scribbles, and Doodles. His work has been translated into more than 15 languages. He lives in Tokyo.
