Kadir emails and asks Jonas to write a biography of his famous father. Kadir is insistent but Jonas is reluctant. He hasn't seen his father in nine years. Their correspondence conflicts in substance and style, focusing on racism and nativism, the prejudices in Sweden and the efforts to fit into Swedish society, and keep Jonas from feeling that he's an outsider.
