Years.The book idea was born when Joseph D. Galetti, a retired Fire Captain of the Kansas City Fire Department, asked what could be done with about 100 old photographs that belonged to his
great grandfather Val B. Mintun.In reviewing the photographs it was positive this was a small treasure of historical photographs of Kansas City, Missouri. It was suggested to Mr. Galetti the
possibility of the photographs being published in book form, he readily agreed and so this book began. The book is hardbound, 72 pages with primarily full page photos of unique, historic street
scenes of Kansas City, Missouri.
