Entreated by his ex-wife to solve the murder of her estranged sister, private investigator Moe Prager learns that the victim, a New York EMT, died amid hostilities regarding a dying man she refused to help, a case that is further complicated by bureaucratic greed, sexual harassment and blackmail.
