The anthology is a product of a conference on nonfinancial (notional) defined pension schemes that was jointly organized by the World Bank and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Nine chapters examine the recent history of nonfinancial defined pension reforms in Italy, Latvia, Poland, and Sweden and assess reforms currently being implemented or considered in Norway, Egypt, China, Greece, and Chile.
