Thirty contributions are presented in this volume, which arose out of the Modern Austrian Literature and Culture Association Conference in 2007 (held in Edmonton, Canada, at the U. of Alberta);
along with those based on conference presentations are some articles published elsewhere and others solicited after the conference. More than half are in German (the rest in English). Coverage
