In 2012, those involved in the commissioning and creation of
The Saint John's Bible will celebrate the completion of this magnificent project. The completely handwritten and
hand-illuminated Bible was commissioned in 1998, and by the end of 2011, the last of its seven exquisite books will be complete. The nearly thirteen-year process was a labor of love for
renowned calligrapher and illuminator Donald Jackson, who served as artistic director and collaborated with scribes, artists, and theologians to create the stunning lettering and gorgeously
detailed illuminations using ancient methods, materials, and tools. This lovely hardcover calendar borrows a different one of the Bible's colorful and intricate illuminations for each of its
weekly spreads. It includes a ribbon marker, and the textural cover features gold foil and embossing. It is a fitting tribute to a brilliant work of art that amazes as well as inspires.

Welsh Oak in seven magnificent volumes.
