內容簡介

Edited by Lumpkin (Whitman School of Management, Syracuse U.) and Katz (Cook School of Business, Saint Louis U.), this volume explores issues of social entrepreneurship (as defined by a "double-bottom line" of financial good and societal good) and sustainable entrepreneurship (which adds environmental concerns to the preceding "double-bottom line"), including the challenges of studying social and sustainable entrepreneurship with traditional entrepreneurship research methods and models. Ten papers are presented on such topics as the role of innovation in social change, the effect of human capital on entrepreneurial choice of goals, theoretic perspectives of opportunity in social entrepreneurship, the process by which an established organization embraces social goals, factors that facilitate sustainability in organizations, and ways of approaching the teaching of social entrepreneurship.
