'Six months have passed since the violent conclusion of Marfa Shadows that left infamous Mexican drug lord Victor Morales dying on a mountainside in Big Bend National Park. Chef Brett Baldwin is back at the stove in his restaurant Mesquite in the small but artsy West Texas town of Marfa. He's also working each day to solidify his love for local-girl-turned-Hollywood-starlet Meridyth Morgan, while his oversized Native American sidekick Jud Garcia has retreated into solitude and illegal substances at theremote ranch where he raises bison.
